The longer I parent, and more thoughtfully so, I began to investigate my "beliefs" and their origins. Who taught me about politics, religion, marriage, family, woman's lib? Honestly for me it was home, school and TV. MOST of my beliefs weren't taught as options but as absolutes. I think this may be true for most of us. My younger children have only been homeschooled, however our 16 yr old has only been brick and mortar public schooled.
